Why a Nude Beach?

Being naked shows we are more alike than different.

  1. Letting it all out makes it easier to accept your body. Everyone looks normal and you realize you’re not so different. A nice change from the models and “perfect” bodies we usually see.

  2. It’s not sexual. Private resorts and camps make their own rules but on a public beach sexual activity is prohibited. Besides nudists know how to separate the simple human body and sex.

  3. It helps break down a taboo. Hiding our bodies and only letting them out to bathe and have sex builds that taboo stronger. It says we should be ashamed and hide our skin. Practicing nudism on a public beach tells everyone that our bodies are beautiful and nudity isn’t a big deal.

  4. The sun is healthy for your skin. All of it! Remember the environmentally friendly sun screen though.

  5. Naturists are very open and friendly. With nothing to hide behind, how can you not be? On a clothed beach people stay secluded, but nude beaches are known for friendly social interaction.

  6. You can meet anyone. Nudists are everywhere. We are lawyers and grandmas, designers and politicians. Young and old. We all can enjoy being clothes free.

  7. You have more freedom to be yourself without jewelry, name brands or different styles of clothing that identify class to divide us.

  8. Being together with nature just feels good - the sun on your skin with the water surrounding you. Even the sand on your buns.

  9. No tan lines or sand in your swimsuit!

  10. It feels so natural to be nude and there’s no need to hide it.
