This page currently contains archival information on our unsuccessful 2011 proposal for the full Haulover Beach concession. It was instead awarded to Boucher Brothers, the interim concessionaire selected by the Parks Department on payment default of the prior concessionaire Toby's Frozen Lemonaide.

B.E.A.C.H.E.S. Concession Services LLC (BCS) bids on Haulover Park beach concession.

Partnering with Bobby Hoadley of Kissing Pelicans, Inc. (Pelican Pier restaurant) and the international resort group SuperClubs, B.E.A.C.H.E.S. has presented a bid for the beach concession at Haulover. The proposal is designed to provide additional revenue for B.E.A.C.H.E.S' nonprofit mission and to provide a quality beach experience for Haulover visitors, through a joint venture with these successful hospitality industry companies. View bid summary (doc) excerpt from B.E.A.C.H.E.S' proposal.

Tired of the same old hot dogs and chips? B.E.A.C.H.E.S' proposal includes a variety of delectible edibles from high-quality mobile food providers including:    • Miso Hungry    • Ms. Cheezious    • Burger Beast
• Dolci Peccati    • Jefe's    • Caza Crepes    • Nacho Bizness

The proposal also envisions more special events at Haulover Park, both naturist and non-naturist, to the benefit of residents and the tourism economy. We're pleased that B.E.A.C.H.E.S' proposal has the support of the Mayor & Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, and the Sunny Isles Tourism & Marketing Council.

B.E.A.C.H.E.S. is one of three bidders; bid scoring and selection of the winner is scheduled in March 2011.

Doesn't B.E.A.C.H.E.S. already have a concession at Haulover Beach?

As a Miami-Dade County Programming Partner, B.E.A.C.H.E.S. is allowed to operate at a single location on the beach, offering ice cream, fresh fruit, fruit confections, and naturist souvenirs.

Only the beach concessionaire is allowed to sell hot or "solid" food, beer, soft drinks or bottled water, anywhere in Haulover Park east of A1A; also the concessionaire profits from the beach rentals. The current interim concessionaire, Boucher Bros, was selected when the Parks Dept. removed Toby's as the concessionaire.

Our bid for the full beach concession, if successful, will allow an expansion of our mission to provide further capital improvements and special events at Haulover Beach.
